Data Backup Regimes

The importance of your data is not underestimated and therefore there are exceptional data recovery services. All the backup regimes are carefully managed and monitored by the technical team in the UK data centre.

In addition to the standard, inclusive daily backup service, backup regimes to suit your requirements can be provided.

Daily Backup

A three day rolling backup is provided as a standard service. Your data is backed up daily and saved for up to three days. You can request any of your company data to be retrieved on demand, within any of the last three days.

Daily, Weekly, Monthly Backup

An enhanced backup regime is available as an additional service.

The enhanced backup regime backs up your data on daily, four weekly rolling schedule. This ensures that your data can be restored to any point in time from the past four weeks.

Alternative, there is an extended 12 monthly backup available. The cost of this backup regime is based on the amount of additional storage required.

Bespoke Backup

If non of the backup regimes provided are suitable it is possible to design a backup regime to suit your requirements. This can include, for example, off-site backups which is provided by any designated preferred providers.

Tier 3 Data Centre Security

Security of the Data Centre is an essential part of services on offer. The Data Centre boasts a high-tech security infrastructure and maintains strict access protocols.

Security features include SIA and NSI security staff, external CCTV cameras, internal infrared cameras, motion detectors and a manual and electronic identification process.

Power Provisioning

The Data Centre has its own on-site sub-station with is supplied by a protected ring feed from the National Grid.

Uninterupted Power Supplied

There is significant UPS provision which is constantly monitored and manually checked on a daily basis. To ensure the UPS can perform at its best preventative maintenance is performed twice a year.

External Generator

On complete mains failure the external generator will start automatically.

Fire Detection and Suppression System

Including FM-200 gas fire suppression system in both data floor and UPS rooms; 4 x VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) units positioned throughout the floor.
